I’m a UX Designer experienced in designing user focused and well researched solutions to provide valuable products and positively impact the lives of my users.
I have basic knowledge in programming with java and html, which allows me to communicate seamlessly with developers. My passion to always learn and improve myself enables me to keep up with current industry standards.

I worked in a medical laboratoy before deciding that my passion lies in the world of IT. I come from a place where following rules and systems was mandatory for great results – all that while keeping the most important person in mind: the patient. This focus hasn’t changed in my work as a UX designer and I want to keep creating valuable products for my Users and impact their lives positively. These past experiences allow me to provide a unique perspective on the bigger picture.

Conducted a variety of research methods tovalidate and pinpoint user needs. Always focusing on analyzing the results and implenting them into the design. In my last practical project I've applied the following research methods:

Defining & developing

Emphasizing the users needs through visualizing their persona and keeping them in mind on every step of the design process. Creating a specific problem statement aiming to be solved within each project. Parts of this process are:

User personas
User flows
User journeys

Wireframing and Prototyping

Passionate about designing coherent and functional wireframes that create a fluent and intuitive experience for the user. Extensive experience with industry standard software, creating fully clickable prototypes.

UI- Design

Always keeping an eye on elevating the user-experience by strategically using color and animations to reinforce trust and build personality.

Other things I like

When I'm not designing I like spending time outside, exploring nature, hanging out with animals and doing handstands.
I often visit my family by the north sea, taking a break from the city life.
I'm also a passionate dog-sitter and take care of several dogs regularly.
